Hello

My name is Gabrielle Wasilko and I am your child's third grade teacher for the 22-23 school year! I would like to share a little bit about me.

I grew up in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania and currently reside there. I live with my three black cats Sooty, Cinder, and Jaxen and my parents. I graduated from Lock Haven University in May of 2021, where I earned my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education PreK-4. Before coming to Young Scholars, I was an Itinerant Preschool teacher.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, going to the gym, hiking, kayaking, and shopping for books (which is becoming a problem). I also enjoy spending time with my friends and family. One thing about me is that I love to travel and explore new places.

I am so excited for this upcoming school year. I can't wait to watch all of these students grow in their learning!
